' the Safe children's room '

Ideas proceeding from which the room is created:

Security of children. A soft life.

Why Safe children's rooms?

My name is Alina Sidorova. I’m mother of four children. And I know, how much difficultly to look about kids. Kids learn the world, arrangement of subject matters, materials and it is necessary to encourage them in these desires! But how many dangers around! And how many job, patience, attention parents put! The project of safe nurseries is created, as a certain respite for parents who are in a constant pursuit of the inquisitive kids. '

Getting Ahead without Getting Behind.

I work a full-time job (that I don't particularly enjoy), have a wife and little girl (that I do enjoy), and am going to school online full-time. GTD is helping me to make the best use of my available time, but it doesn't seem like enough. My someday/maybe list is growing increasingly longer, and my career is at a stand still until I finish school.

To Merlin: About the Grip Tape for mbpro

Hey Merlin,

Can you please let us know how the grip tape worked on your macbookpro? Mine is a disaster and I've been looking for ways to protect it from external forces. I'm curious to find out where you put it and if it makes it too bulky or not.

Corporate Adoption/Measurement of GTD-like Returns

Hello All,

I am a big believer in a lot of concepts talked about on this site--I've gotten a lot of personal benefit from them (thanks Merlin, et. al.). The Kool-Aid has been delicious.

My problem: the "big company" approach to the problems of today's knowledge worker is to prescribe tools--rather than helping people figure out how to use those tools. I see a lot of co-workers drowning in information ... they want help, but the corporation is hard-pressed to give it to them.

Inbox zero evangelization?

I've been using Merlin's Inbox Zero techniques for many months now--processing, not checking. I like it and it's been helpful.

I'd like to talk about it at work, much like Merlin's Tech Talk, but I'm concerned that this is Merlin's livelihood and I shouldn't do more than point people to 43f and say "look at the inbox zero stuff, it's good." I don't think that I could get my work's training folks to license this.

Is there an appropriate way to present this useful tool? What's the happy medium?

Brian

Cranking

Merlin used to crank. He’s not cranking any more.

This is an essay about family, priorities, and Shakey’s Pizza, and it’s probably the best thing he’s written. »

Merlin’s scared. You’re scared. Everybody is scared.

This is the video of Merlin’s keynote at Webstock 2011. The one where he cried. You should watch it. »
