TOOLS YOU USE FOR GTDcpl.maniac | Nov 28 2007I'VE BEEN LOOKING INTO DOING THE WHOLE GTD THING FOR THE NEW YEAR. JUST LOOKING INTO SOME IDEAS AS TO WHAT TOOLS TO START WITH. NOW TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF MY SITUATION. I AM A BUSINESS MANAGER, WHICH MEANS I ALSO NEED TO KEEP TRACK OF EMPLOYEES, SUCH AS TIME OFF AND SCHEDULING, NOT ONLY MYSELF. I DO HAVE ADULT ADHD. I'M IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER ONLY AT WORK. I DON'T EVEN HAVE INTERNET AT HOME (NOT ENOUGH TIME). I USE MY CELL PHONE FOR MY CONTACTS, BUT GOT SCREWED ONCE WHEN I USED IT FOR MY CALENDAR( A 2 YR OLD GOT A HOLD OF IT). read more »POSTED IN:

Getting Ahead without Getting Behind.Shay Arnett | Oct 16 2007I work a full-time job (that I don't particularly enjoy), have a wife and little girl (that I do enjoy), and am going to school online full-time. GTD is helping me to make the best use of my available time, but it doesn't seem like enough. Corporate Adoption/Measurement of GTD-like ReturnsJosh Buchanan | Jan 18 2008Hello All, I am a big believer in a lot of concepts talked about on this site--I've gotten a lot of personal benefit from them (thanks Merlin, et. al.). The Kool-Aid has been delicious. My problem: the "big company" approach to the problems of today's knowledge worker is to prescribe tools--rather than helping people figure out how to use those tools. I see a lot of co-workers drowning in information ... they want help, but the corporation is hard-pressed to give it to them. read more »POSTED IN:
